Picatinny Quadrail Handguard for SG552/553 (Stgw04)

Original Sig Sauer AG quadrail as used by the Swiss Armed Forces on the Stgw04. These are the last ones available and will not be produced again. 

Fitment guide:

Gen 1 Rail production late 1990’s-2010

SG552/SG553 Quadrail Handguard: Flush fit with no height gap. Twist-lock is achieved by the bayonet lug, which sits in the gas block. 

Gen 1.5 Rail , production 2010-2020

SG552/SG553 Quadrail Handguard: flush fit with no height gap. Twist-lock is achieved by the bayonet lug, which sits in the gas block. 

Gen 2 Rail , in production since mid-2020

SG552/SG553 Quadrail Handguard: To mount it, the User will have to mill a little notch in the handguard (Sig Sauer AG will not offer this from factory). The receivers Rail will sit 1,6mm higher than the handguards 12 o’clock rail. Twist-lock is achieved by the bayonet lug, which sits in the gas block.
