The Acheron QD55x Rail is the premier optic rail for any SG 55x rifles with a diopter sight receiver. After initial adjustment, it can be removed and reinstalled in the blink of an eye with just the tip of a bullet – all without losing zero. There is no tensioning screw that can be overtightened or come loose on its own. A spring-loaded plunger pushes the rail onto the prism at the front end of the receiver instead. The force of the spring does not change under the influence of thermal expansion due to changes in temperature. A locking lever blocks the plunger to eliminate the risk of releasing the optic if the rifle is put in a rack too forcefully.
The standard length of the QD55x Rail is compatible with the Type 0 variants of our KWS Rail Systems for the SG 55x rifles. The rail height matches that of the handguard.
