The widely used M-LOK mounting system has a weakness: it provides excellent mounting but lacks precise positioning. Since M-LOK was not originally designed for mounting aiming devices, its tolerances are comparatively large. If a laser aiming device is attached to M-LOK using a conventional rail segment, the point of impact can shift by up to 13 mils or 45 MOA if the laser is subjected to force (e.g., by being struck or the weapon falling over). This means no shooter can be certain of their target, and only firing reveals the point of impact.
This doesn't happen with the Acheron M-LOK laser rail. Expandable recoil lugs position the laser rail precisely on the weapon, creating a positive connection and ensuring accuracy doesn't depend solely on friction. Naturally, our laser rail can also be used to attach other accessories.
